Pit Stick Deodorant is made with candelilla wax, shea butter, grass-fed tallow, olive oil, coconut oil, olive oil, arrowroot powder, kaolin clay, and essential oils. One of the naturally occurring oils in tallow, palmitoleic acid, has natural antimicrobial properties which helps fight odor-causing bacteria. Coconut oil contains fatty acids, like lauric acid, which are known for their antibacterial benefits, reducing the bacteria. Olive oil contains antioxidants that let the good bacteria on your skin get to work, which reduces odor. Arrowroot is lightly drying and absorbent, and it provides a soft feel and texture. The Detox Stick will also add in activated charcoal that draws out the bacteria and toxins that cause odor to help eliminate it.
