- I wear a size 14 in department store sizing — which means I'm in a size 13/30 in this style
- I wear a Large in most tops, and up to 2X in some jackets due to broader shoulders
- Important sizing note: Our boutique denim brands run differently than department store sizing — most of our customers size down one size from what they'd normally wear at Target, Walmart, or a department store
- If you wear a size 14 at a department store, start with size 13/30 here
- If you're between sizes or carry more through the hip and thigh, stay in your department store size or size up one
- The wide leg and high rise on these are flattering on a curvier frame — the rise holds you in at the waist without digging and the wide leg balances the hip beautifully
